TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Directional Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and manage bore schedules while safely operating drilling equipment.

Applicants should have CDL Class A with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to travel up to 100% in various weather conditions. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Responsabilidades

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all required equipment.
• Verify utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize Mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Up to 100% travel.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Up to 100% travel
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
• Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Traveling Directional Drill Operator is $24.00 - $35.00.
