Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator Foreman to oversee drilling operations for telecommunications infrastructures. You will be the on-site expert, guiding a crew and ensuring safe, efficient installation of cables and equipment.

You’ll read drawings, determine bore paths, and manage equipment, while coordinating with teams in all weather. The role requires CDL A with tanker or willingness to obtain, 3+ years drilling experience, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• At least 3 years of experience operating drill bores equipment in telecom/construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site Job Safety Analysis.
• Read engineering drawings, prints and technical documents for OSP facilities.
• Draw prints or sketches and provide field notes describing OSP facilities.
• Safely operate and control drilling equipment.
• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Operate Mud mixing systems.
• Ensure accurate drilling and protect utilities.
• Schedule and maintain equipment and tooling; perform site setup and cleanup.
• Resolve property owner complaints and document work.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Lead new site Job Safety Analysis

• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems

• Perform work in all weather conditions

• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience

• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it

• At least 3 years of experience operating drill bores equipment within the telecommunications or construction industry

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely : work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds

• Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse
