Job summary

Dentists of East Clovis is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients, assist with radiographs, maintain sterile operatory, and collaborate with front office to keep the Orthodontists schedule running smoothly.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, state-required certification training, and a valid driver's license for travel between offices if needed.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, and state-mandated training courses for certification/licensure.
• Certificates/Licenses/Registrations as mandated by applicable state.
• Specialty Dental Assistants may require valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must travel to multiple offices as needed.
• Alternative transportation acceptable if a driver's license is unavailable.
• Travel may be planned or unplanned and is subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to enable efficient, quality care.
• Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by the clinician.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and ensure infection control guidelines are followed.
• Record patient charting and notes in the digital patient chart and share with clinicians.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members as appropriate.
• Support patient care by presenting treatment records and health history to the clinician.
