Job summary

Northwest Demolition & Dismantling, Inc. is seeking a Demolition Site Superintendent to oversee field crews, subcontractors, and project safety on diverse projects across the United States.

You will read and interpret demolition plans, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with safety policies. Travel is required, typically 6 weeks on site followed by 1 week off, with rotations across project sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• OSHA 30 hour and HazWoper training highly preferred
• Excellent leadership and safety management capabilities
• Strong communication and coordination with crews and vendors

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and establish effective working relationships with crews and staff
• Manage field operations and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors; understand scope and schedule
• Foster a safe workplace by following safety policies and procedures
• Read and interpret demolition plans and schedules; collaborate with Project Manager on scope
• Supervise site activities, schedules, and estimate resources for job completion
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure proper safety documentation
• Directly supervise demolition projects with crews of 3–10 and multiple subcontractors
• Adhere to project timelines and ensure efficient, safe, accurate work
• Manage on-site equipment and coordinate maintenance with operations
• Address safety incidents in coordination with HSE personnel
• Operate equipment such as excavators and loaders as required
