Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee the installation, commissioning, and handover of multiple construction projects nationwide. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to client specifications.

The role requires 2+ years of PM experience, in-depth knowledge of BMS/HVAC controls, OSHA 30, and readiness to travel up to 95% (including weekends). Compensation starts at $130k annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building management systems and HVAC controls.
• OSHA 30 certification; if not current, training within first week.
• Proficiency with PM software and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and Controls Technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain ongoing client communication to address concerns and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents.
• Review and approve engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
• Track and manage change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses.
• Maintain accurate project records, including milestones, billings, SoV, and DivPro docs.
• Assign commissioning work and oversee field personnel.
• Review weekly timecards for Technicians; manage BoM.
• Provide monthly project updates and financial reporting to leadership.
