Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee the installation, commissioning, and handover of multiple construction projects. The role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in building automation, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong understanding of building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and automation.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two years or OSHA 30 training will be provided and must be completed within the first week.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and Controls Technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address concerns and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents.
• Review and approve engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
• Track and manage change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses to maintain budget adherence.
• Maintain accurate project records, including milestones, billings, SoV, and documentation within DivPro.
• Assign commissioning work and oversee field personnel.
• Review and approve weekly timecards for Controls Technicians.
• Approve and manage the Bill of Materials (BoM) for each project.
• Provide monthly project updates, including billing and financial reporting, to senior management.
