Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Production Technician Supervisor/Traveling Team Data Center Operations Support to join a growing logistics team.

You’ll act as the first line of communication with customers and warehouse sites, coordinate resolutions, audit orders, monitor performance, and help drive service improvements. The role requires 2 years of relevant work experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel, and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications; ability to create complex formulas in Excel.
• Associate degree in Transportation or Business.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, distribution or logistics in a manufacturing environment.
• 2 years of experience in transportation and operations.
• Availability to work extended hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized information and data.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first line of communication with customers and warehouse sites; advise customers of service failures and coordinate resolutions
• Audit daily order processes; ensure all orders are sent to each site
• Monitor and report all errors for performance tracking
• Work with Inventory Control, Transportation, and warehouse sites on service resolutions
• Oversee service provider performance and engage providers for service improvement
• Coordinate shipment schedules and communicate order changes with warehouses
• Maintain ISO compliance documents and train department personnel to required standards
