Job summary

GH Engage is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead CSA construction activities on large-scale data center projects across the United States. The role provides field leadership for Civil, Structural, and Architectural scopes, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors, coordinate with design teams, and drive execution from mobilization to turnover.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent role.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, or similarly complex projects.
• Strong background overseeing CSA construction scopes on projects valued at $100M+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field supervision and leadership for CSA construction activities on mission-critical data center projects.
• Manage daily site operations, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract documents, project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
• Lead coordination efforts among subcontractors, vendors, consultants, inspectors, and client representatives.
• Drive project execution from mobilization through completion, including site development, foundations, structural systems, building envelope, interiors, and architectural finishes.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change documentation to proactively identify conflicts and maintain project momentum.
• Develop and maintain short-term execution plans, manpower forecasts, and look-ahead schedules.
• Conduct daily field observations, coordination meetings, safety walks, and quality inspections.
• Ensure subcontractors meet project milestones, productivity expectations, and contractual requirements.
• Partner with the Project Manager and project leadership team to identify risks, develop solutions, and maintain overall project objectives.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, progress tracking, inspection records, and field directives.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities by ensuring CSA scopes are complete, documented, and aligned with client requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement across the project team.
