Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Traveling Crane Operator to safely operate cranes and hoisting equipment across Texas and Louisiana. This full-time role requires travel to project sites, observing lift plans, and maintaining equipment. Housing is provided, plus a daily per diem during travel.

Ideal candidates have NCCCO certification, CDL-A, and at least 3 years of experience with a 30-ton crane mounted on a truck.

Qualifications

• NCCCO Certification for hydraulic cranes up to 50 tons required.
• CDL-A license required; willing to travel 12+ days as needed.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with a stand up 30-ton crane mounted on a truck.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate cranes and hoisting equipment to lift, move, and position loads.
• Follow approved lift plans, complete checklists, and sign off on lifts.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain crane equipment; report defects promptly.
• Ensure strict safety compliance and attention to detail on all jobs.

Traveling Crane Operator

This position will require travel to project sites across Texas, including Amarillo, Abilene, and San Antonio, as well as Monroe, Louisiana.

Flynn will provide housing accommodation and daily $40 peridium.

Job Summary:

The Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cranes and hoisting equipment to lift, move, and position loads. This role includes observing load hookups to ensure safe handling, operating crane controls to regulate speed and direction, and using appropriate hoisting attachments such as hooks, slings, electromagnets, or buckets based on load requirements.

The Crane Operator follows approved critical lift plans, completes required checklists, and signs off on lift completion. Additional responsibilities include inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining crane equipment, as well as promptly reporting any defects or malfunctions to supervision. Safety compliance and attention to detail are essential to this position.

What We are Seeking:

• NCCCO Certification for Hydraulic cranes up to 50 Tons required


• CDL-A Required/Must be ok with traveling 12 days or more depending on the needs of the job.


• Ideal candidate will have minimum of 3 years experience, specifically using a stand up 30-ton crane with a 105' reach mounted on a truck
