Job summary

The Flynn Group of Companies seeks a Traveling Crane Operator to safely operate cranes across Texas and Louisiana project sites. This full-time role includes following critical lift plans, completing checklists, and reporting issues promptly.

Ideal candidates hold NCCCO certification, CDL-A, and have 3+ years of stand-up crane experience (30-ton, 105 ft reach) mounted on a truck. Housing and per diem are provided.

Qualifications

• NCCCO Certification for Hydraulic cranes up to 50 Tons is required.
• CDL-A license required; willingness to travel 12+ days as needed.
• Minimum 3 years experience with a stand-up 30-ton crane (105' reach) mounted on a truck.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate cranes and hoisting equipment to lift, move, and position loads.
• Follow lift plans, complete checklists, and sign off on lift completion.
• Inspect, maintain, and report defects or malfunctions to supervision.
• Observe load hookups and adjust crane speed and direction as required.
• Travel to project sites across Texas and nearby areas.
