Job summary

LifeWorks Schools is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students across three PA locations: Doylestown, Media, and Levittown, for the 2026-2027 academic year. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• PA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license must be active.
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree required.
• Previous COTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) through problem solving and adaptations.
• Observe and suggest positioning techniques to maximize educational participation.
• Consult with classroom staff and share information at team meetings.
• Discuss and exchange information about the students assigned with the occupational therapist.
• Utilize task analysis to suggest techniques to the educational team for school activities.
• Implement the individualized/small group therapeutic program prescribed by the occupational therapist.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to plan and implement effective student programs.
• Collect and maintain data on individual student goals and assist in formulating new goals.
