LifeWorks Schools is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support students across three Pennsylvania locations: Doylestown, Media, and Levittown. Travel between sites is required to support students throughout the academic year.

The role includes implementing OT-guided activities, supporting ADLs, and collaborating closely with classroom staff and families. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered to new hires and the school emphasizes outcomes-focused, therapeutic

Qualifications

• PA COTA license is required.
• Associates degree is required.
• Willingness to travel between Doylestown, Levittown and Media school sites.

Responsabilités

• Promote independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) through problem solving and adaptations.
• Observe and suggest positioning techniques to maximize student participation.
• Consult with classroom staff and share information at team meetings.
• Discuss and exchange information about students with the occupational therapist.
• Use task analysis to suggest techniques for feeding, ADLs, pre-writing, and other school skills.
• Implement individualized/small group therapeautic programs prescribed by the OT.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to plan and implement student programs.
• Assist the therapist in data collection and goal refinement.
