Job summary
Aerotek is seeking a Cooling Tower Technician for remote, field-based work across multiple states. The role emphasizes hands-on cleaning, repair, and construction support for cooling towers at utilities and manufacturing plants.
Must be able to travel extensively, work up to 10-hour days, and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors, with strong safety training including OSHA 10. Contract-to-hire with potential for advancement and lodging/travel support.
Qualifications
- Experience performing general labor in construction, industrial, or similar environments.
- Ability to safely operate a power washer for cleaning cooling towers.
- Comfort working at heights with fall protection and 100% tie-off.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and noise levels.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform demanding tasks.
Responsibilities
- Clean and power wash cooling towers at utility or manufacturing sites.
- Perform light repairs and assist with construction, installation and fabrication of cooling towers.
- Assist with installation of motors, fans, gearboxes and piping on towers.
- Travel to job sites across multiple states and work 7 days per week when on road.
- Communicate scheduling needs and travel plans with supervision.
