Job Description

Globally recognized eCommerce company based in Seattle, WA is currently hiring for a Traveling Conveyor System Project Engineer. These Engineers are responsible for the completion of the project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of the project/program.

The Project Engineer is mainly responsible for traveling to various warehouse facilities to support the project of retrofitting or replacing old conveyor belt systems. The Project Engineer will not perform hands-on work but will act as the main point of contact as a project manager, coordinating with vendors to conduct these replacements and installations.

Pay: $65/hr. (Set final pay, no negotiation)

Contract Duration: 5 Months to start

Location: NC, DC, MD, VA, NJ, or NYC (local candidates preferred)

Travel Requirement: 80-100% (travel compensated)

Responsibilities

• Travel to warehouse facilities to retrofit/update conveyor belts to modern, automation-focused systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and oversee project execution as a project manager.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in engineering and project management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
• Comfortable traveling extensively (80-100%).
• Experience with automation and conveyor systems.
• Experience working with third-party vendors.

Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
