Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Installer to join our Installation team, supporting large-scale material handling and conveyor projects across the continental United States. You will manage layout, pre-assembly, installation, and run-in of conveyor equipment, including structural steel, platforms, guardrails, racks, and air lines.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of hands-on installation experience, can read engineered drawings, and commit to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years hands-on conveyor installation experience.
• Ability to read engineered drawings and layouts.
• Commitment to safety and quality on all projects.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems.
• Install header steel, platforms, structural components, and mechanical parts.
• Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping.
• Interpret drawings and follow assembly instructions to execute plans.
• Adhere to safety procedures, LOTO, and quality standards.
• Travel 100% across the U.S. and work at multiple sites.
• Lift at least 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
