Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Installer to join a growing team. You may be based anywhere in the continental USA but must be willing to travel 100% to customer locations.

The role involves installing and servicing conveyor equipment across various customer sites with a focus on safety and high-quality workmanship. The base pay range is $42,000 - $95,000 with final compensation determined by location, education, experience, and skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred but not required.
• 2-5 years’ experience installing/maintaining conveyor equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with conveyor system layout, component pre-assembly, header steel installation, platform and structural steel erection, conveyor installation, guard rail, rack, air piping, detailing and run-in of installed equipment.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for safety and the safety of others around.
• Complete assigned mechanical tasks within allotted time and high quality as assigned by site supervision.
• Take direction from the site supervisor or foreman.
• Provide support to the site supervisor and foreman.
• Travel 100% to customer sites within the USA.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Push, pull, squat, crawl and walk around large construction sites in various climates and environments.

Technical degree or specialized training preferred but not required
