Job summary

Dematic is seeking Mechanical Installers to join a growing field team. The role requires traveling to customer locations across the continental USA and performing installation and maintenance of conveyor systems.

You will be responsible for safety, quality, and timely completion of tasks on diverse sites. Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–5 years of relevant experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment.
• Minimum 2–5 years in a related role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical tasks within allotted time and to high quality as directed by site supervision.
• Take direction from the site supervisor or foreman.
• Travel 100% to customer sites within the USA.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Work on large construction sites in varying climates and environments.
• Provide support to the site supervisor and foreman.

The employee may be based anywhere in the continental USA, however, must be willing to travel 100% to customer locations.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Minimum 2-5 years' experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment

Possess a valid driver's license

Experience in conveyor system layout, component pre-assembly, header steel installation, platform and structural steel erection, conveyor installation, guard rail, rack, air piping, detailing and run-in of installed equipment
