Scott Humphrey Corporation, based in Austin, TX, is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for correctional facilities across Texas, Louisiana, and the Southern U.S. This role requires mandatory correctional project experience and extensive travel, leading complex commercial construction in secure environments.

The Superintendent will oversee field operations, coordinate stakeholders, ensure safety and quality, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Formación

• Mandatory: experience as Superintendent on correctional facilities, prisons, jails, or secure government facilities.
• Proven experience leading commercial construction projects as a Superintendent.
• Independent management of field operations and subcontractor coordination.
• Strong understanding of plans, specs, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day field operations for correctional projects from mobilization to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project teams to maintain schedule and quality.
• Manage site logistics, manpower, sequencing, and field execution.
• Interpret construction plans and schedules to ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and government representatives.
• Identify and resolve field issues and scheduling conflicts proactively.
• Conduct safety and quality inspections to maintain a compliant site.
• Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates.
• Maintain project documentation and daily reports.
