Job summary

Design Systems Builders, Inc. seeks a Traveling Project Superintendent to lead large commercial PEMB projects, coordinate with GCs and Owners, and travel as required. The role emphasizes interfacing with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The candidate will guide design-build coordination, manage field teams, and maintain safety, quality, and schedule. An ESOP-owned culture supports ownership and growth within a self-perform team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction; 5+ years as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience leading commercial projects valued at $50M+.
• OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate multiple activities for projects on site.
• Interface with GC and Owner; work with PEMB Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Strengthen relationships with clientele and subcontractors.
• Maintain project goals, budgets, and schedules; assist with cost control and estimations.
• Communicate weekly project schedules and review changes with stakeholders.
• Attend GC and client meetings; provide feedback to Operations leadership.
• Travel locally and out of state to manage projects; ensure safety compliance.
