Job summary

Design Systems Builders, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent to lead on-site activities for large, complex commercial PEMB projects. The role requires coordinating with GC and Owner, managing budgets and schedules, and traveling to project sites within the Southeast as needed.

A strong track record in pursuing excellence and building client relationships is essential. You will guide design-build teams, oversee field operations, ensure safety, and collaborate with PEMB and Project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in commercial construction; at least 5 years as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience leading commercial construction projects with a value of $50M or greater; willingness to travel.
• Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making/problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of commercial construction projects on site to meet goals, timeframes, and budgets.
• Interface with GC and Owner and collaborate with PEMB Superintendent.
• Build and maintain relationships with clientele and subcontractors.
• Refine project goals and schedules; set and monitor milestones.
• Monitor budgets and schedules; update weekly with Project Manager.
• Provide estimating assistance and submit RFIs as needed.
• Lead project meetings with GC, owner, and stakeholders; ensure safety and quality.
