Elite Talent Solutions in Knoxville is seeking a Superintendent to oversee current and future construction projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, be willing to travel extensively, and demonstrate leadership in daily project coordination and subcontractor management.
Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Preferences include a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of construction experience. The position requires effective communication skills and a commitment to safety.
Superintendent to oversee current and future projects in multiple locations. The Superintendent must be willing to travel to job locations and will provide on‑site control and ownership for construction of assigned project. They will have full understanding of the scope of work, in‑field decision making, budget management and invoice review as needed, permitting and inspections, material ordering and rental equipment dispatch, change orders both for internal documentation and external approvals, and work to mitigate quality and financial risks for the company.
High school diploma or G.E.D.; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction experience.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Current knowledge and ability to apply relevant local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including OSHA.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing and to present information to top management, owners, subcontractors, and other outside entities.
Basic math skills.
Able to use computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Smartsheet®.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Leadership and management skills.
70 to 80%.
