Job summary

Ameritech Contracting is seeking a seasoned Construction Site Supervisor to lead on-site activities in Chelsea, ME. You will oversee safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and budget adherence while coordinating subcontractors and field teams.

Travel willingness and the ability to read complex contract documents are essential. A valid driver’s license and OSHA certification are required, with USACE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents and schedules
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and OSHA certification
• USACE CQM certification preferred or willing to obtain
• USACE EM385 certification preferred or willing to obtain
• CPR & First Aid certification

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project construction documents and plans
• Coordinate and inspect subcontractor work for compliance
• Identify issues, RFIs, and field changes with solutions
• Oversee equipment, materials, and manpower allocation
• Support closeout, punch lists, and turnover procedures
• Document daily on-site activities with narratives and photos
• Lead regular tool talks to keep project on schedule
• Identify and communicate site safety concerns and enforce safety plans
• Assist with schedule development and progress reporting
• Occasional tasks outside the usual scope of work
