Job summary

Epstein Global, a Chicago-based ESOP firm, seeks a Traveling Site Superintendent to lead field activities on large-scale projects with a strong focus on safety culture and client relationships. You will coordinate with foremen, field engineers, and subcontractors while overseeing schedules, budgets and field documentation.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years of supervisory experience on large projects and a construction-related degree; proficiency in MS Project and Procore is preferred, with 30-hour

Qualifications

• 12+ years of supervisory experience on large projects.
• Bachelor degree in construction-related field or equivalent.
• Knowledge of field construction, safety and procedures.
• Understanding of scheduling techniques (CPM).
• Proficiency with MS Project and Procore preferred; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides proactive leadership to develop a strong safety culture on site and ensures OSHA compliance.
• Develops and maintains client relationships throughout the project.
• Collaborates with the project manager to budget, manage and forecast labor, equipment, materials and general conditions.
• Develops site utilization plans and determines crew sizes.
• Ensures construction schedules are maintained by subs and tracks progress with daily/weekly reports.
• Maintains quality control through regular inspections and interface with design/field construction.
• Reviews change orders and prepares required field documentation and reports.
• Coaches, mentors and trains field personnel.
