Job summary

Structures, Inc is seeking a Traveling Laborer based in Chaska, MN with extensive nationwide travel. You will perform strenuous construction tasks, install earth retention and segmental pavement systems, and maintain a safe work site while staying in company-paid hotels with per diem.

The role requires 8–12 hour days, occasional weekends, and strong reliability. Union affiliation and OSHA 10 training are key, with opportunities for advancement through apprenticeship training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Union affiliation or willingness to join the union (MN residents).
• 8–12 hour workdays and occasional weekends; flexibility with hours.
• OSHA 10-hour safety training to be completed within the first week.
• Previous hardscape experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous physical labor on commercial construction projects using hand and power tools.
• Prepare and maintain a safe, clean job site and assist with installation of earth retention and segmental pavement systems.
• Dig trenches, grade aggregate, remove rubble and debris, and assist with equipment maintenance.
• Work in outdoor conditions, including extreme weather, near moving mechanical parts.
• Travel extensively across the United States and stay in hotel accommodations with per diem.
• Be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or with the team.
• Attend union training and apprenticeship program sessions.
