Job summary

Tri-State Drilling is seeking a Concrete Worker to oversee concrete construction for electrical substations and related civil projects. The role involves formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, and finishing, with ongoing travel to project sites across the United States.

The team will require safe operation and adherence to customer specs and company standards. Experience with slabs, pads, foundations, and form setup is preferred, along with the ability to read plans and elevations.

Qualifications

• Experience constructing and setting forms for slabs, pads, foundations, and sidewalks.
• Ability to read construction plans, elevations, and layout drawings.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for projects.
• Experience with anchor bolts and embedded materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with establishing grades and elevations using lines, stakes, lasers, and surveying equipment.
• Verify dimensions, elevations, slopes, and form alignment before pours.
• Install anchor bolt templates, embeds, conduit stub-ups, sleeves, and other owner-required components.
• Place, tie, and secure reinforcing steel and related materials.
• Prepare subgrades and assist with site grading for proper concrete installation.
• Perform pre-pour inspections for forms and reinforcement.
• Strip forms, backfill, and clean work areas after pours.
• Maintain and organize forms and finishing tools for efficient execution.
