Job summary

Advance Tank and Construction seeks a Supervisor: Civil Construction Foreman/Superintendent to lead field crews on tank foundations and concrete placements. This traveling role requires reliable transport and TWIC eligibility, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality finishes.

You will coordinate formwork, reinforcing steel, layout and surface treatments while ensuring adherence to project schedules across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Must create a safe environment for all employees.
Traveling position requiring reliable transportation and TWIC or ability to obtain one.
Experience with large concrete placements and tank foundations.
2–3 years concrete finishing experience; industrial/construction preferred.
Able to prepare and set forms for foundations, slabs and walls.
Place, spread and level concrete with hand tools and screeds.
Operate finishing tools and apply curing compounds and sealers.
Cut rebar; place expansion and control joints.
Knowledge of tank foundations and framing systems.
Physically able to carry 60–75 pounds and stand 8 hours daily.
Pass post-hire physical and substance abuse test when required.

Responsibilities

Must be able to perform all duties safely for everyone.
Formwork: assist carpenters unloading, positioning, erecting, stripping, cleaning, oiling and loading forms.
Concrete work: achieve smooth, uniform finishes and maintain tools.
Reinforcing steel: assist with unloading, positioning, installing and loading rebar.
Surveying and layout: basis foundation layouts with lasers and transits.
