Traveling Concrete Tank Rehab Superintendent

Job summary

DN is seeking a CTS Traveling Superintendent to lead on-site tank rehabilitation and retrofit projects across the United States. You will supervise crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and adherence to DN’s high standards throughout all phases from planning to closeout.

With 6+ years in concrete construction and strong leadership, you will manage schedules, document control, and client relationships while traveling extensively to remote sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive concrete restoration experience and upgrades on concrete structures.
• 6+ years in field operations with leadership.
• Experience with line & grade, formwork, and large concrete projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, crane operations, and rigging.
• Proficiency with construction tech (iPads, laptops, scheduling software, ERP).
• Willing to travel extensively and manage remote U.S. sites.
• Excellent communication, time management, and conflict resolution.
• Certifications like AMPP CCI Level 1 and AMPP QCS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all on-site construction activities, supervising crews and subcontractors.
• Interpret contract drawings to guide field execution and oversee concrete placement and testing.
• Champion DN’s Safety Program, conducting weekly safety inspections and enforcing policies.
• Mentor field employees and Assistant Superintendents through hands-on training.
• Own the quality assurance process from inspections to punch list completion.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and documentation using Spectrum ERP and Field View.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, engineers, inspectors, and vendors.
• Assist in project closeout meetings and ensure seamless handover.
• Support pre-job planning and DN standards.
