Job summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors is seeking Traveling Concrete Superintendents to lead concrete construction and field operations from day one, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget and per specifications.

You will travel across the United States, supervise crews, coordinate equipment and site logistics, and uphold safety and company policies to meet client expectations and project goals.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of experience as a working concrete superintendent on projects that are a minimum of 100k sq ft; flatwork preferred.
• Willing to travel throughout the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate manpower to meet construction schedules.
• Analyze equipment requirements and mobilize resources to optimize productivity.
• Direct and supervise carpenters, cement finishers, iron workers and laborers.
• Inform supervisors of schedule changes and approve significant reports.
• Report progress to the project manager and coordinate with general contractor.
• Maintain daily diary of project facts, events, and approvals.
• Uphold the company safety program across all project phases.
• Adhere to company policies and support client satisfaction.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
