Job summary

Lithko Contracting LLC is hiring a Traveling Project Manager for our Travel Team. You will develop accurate estimates, share project information with stakeholders, and manage project administration.

Expect to spend 6 months to a year on each project, with travel required. The role requires 5+ years in project management and estimating for concrete contractors, with self-performing concrete experience and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management and estimating for a large scale self-perform GC or concrete contractor.
• Self-performing experience of concrete is required.
• Experience with a variety of project types with emphasis on commercial/industrial concrete.
• Knowledge of construction principles/practices with experience on projects over $1M.
• Experience with performing estimates, submitting bids, and generating proposals.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed and accurate estimates for potential projects.
• Identify and quantify all necessary concrete scope items and develop a project strategy.
• Generate customer proposals and preliminary schedules.
• Conduct project setup including initial contract review, cost codes, and preliminary budget.
• Create and communicate project information and preliminary schedules.
• Organize log sets for MPOs and POs; track logged items and submittals.
• Ensure accurate takeoffs and collaborate to develop an accurate project plan.
• Communicate information, solutions, and opportunities to the team as needed.
• Compile daily job cost reports to ensure costs align with budget.
• Create change orders based on customer expectations.
• Execute a detailed project closeout.
