Job summary

Lithko Contracting LLC is hiring a Traveling Project Manager for our Travel Team. In this role, you will develop accurate estimates, share project information with stakeholders, and manage project administration.

You can expect to spend 6 months to a year on each project, with travel required across various sites nationwide, including industrial and commercial concrete projects. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management and estimating experience for large-scale GC or concrete contracting.
• Self-performing concrete experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed and accurate project estimates.
• Identify and quantify concrete scope items and support project strategy.
• Prepare customer proposals and preliminary schedules.
• Set up projects: review contracts, cost codes, and budgets.
• Create and share detailed project information with stakeholders.
• Develop preliminary project schedules and log management for MPOs/POs.
• Maintain an organized and accurate takeoff for the project.
• Collaborate with Project Lead to develop an accurate project plan.
• Communicate information, solutions, and opportunities to the team.
• Compile daily job cost reports to align with the budget.
• Execute detailed project closeout.
• Communicate project information to all parties.

The Role

Lithko Contracting LLC is hiring a Traveling Project Manager for our Travel Team. In this role, you will develop accurate estimates, share project information with stakeholders, and manage project administration. You can expect to spend 6 months to a year on each project, with travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing a detailed and accurate estimate for a potential project.


• Identifies and quantify all necessary concrete scope items and collaborates in developing a big strategy for a project.


• Generates a customer proposal and preliminary schedule.


• Performs the project's job setup, including initial contract review, cost codes, and preliminary budget.


• Generates and knows correct and timely project information.


• Creates the preliminary schedule for the project.


• Organizes log sets for all MPOs and POs to keep track of all logged items and submittals.


• Responsible for an organized and accurate takeoff for the project.


• Collaborate with the Project Lead and other operational support to develop an accurate project plan.


• Communicate information, solutions, and opportunities to the entire team when necessary.


• Compiles daily job cost reports to ensure the cost and quantity align with the budget.


• Execute a detailed closeout for the project.


• Communicate detailed project information to all appropriate parties.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook


• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.


• 5+ years of experience in project management and estimating for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.


• Self-performing experience of concrete is required.


• Must have experience with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial concrete.


• Knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.


• Previous experience with performing estimates, submitting bids, and generating proposals.


• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required .
