Southern Contracting, LLC is seeking a Traveling Concrete Foreman to lead daily operations of concrete crews on civil and sitework projects across the Southeast. You will mentor craftsmen and ensure quality while traveling to multiple project sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in concrete construction.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings and specifications.
• Deep technical understanding of concrete forming, finishing, and curing techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage field documentation.
• Willingness to travel to various project assignments as required by the business.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead specialized concrete crews to ensure project delivery.
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities and delegate crew assignments to maintain project timelines.
• Interpret complex blueprints and construction plans to guide forming and pouring procedures.
• Enforce rigorous company safety standards and OSHA compliance on-site.
• Execute daily field reports and documentation to provide full transparency to project stakeholders.
• Mentor and train junior crew members to elevate the team's proficiency.
• Resolve real-time logistical and technical obstacles to prevent delays in the construction schedule.
