Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks a Civil Foreman for a project in New Hill, NC. The role directs concrete crews, interprets plans, and ensures safety and schedule compliance.

The candidate will supervise journeymen and helpers, read blueprints, manage materials, and coordinate with clients and supervisors on-site. Regular attendance and substantial travel are required for this position. This is a full-time on-site role.

Formación

• Direct experience as a foreman or supervisor.
• Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders.
• Adherence to safety processes and regulations at all times.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the activities of concrete masons, helpers, and apprentices.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for supervision area.
• Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations.
• Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules.
• Direct sub grade work, mixing of concrete, and setting of forms.
• Study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion.
• Analyze and resolve work problems and maintain time records.
• Follow procedures and standards; ensure quality and safety.
• Calculate concrete quantities for each job and monitor usage.
• Detect and respond to dangerous conditions; perform safety inspections.
• Maintain compliance with SIC safety program and government regulations.
