Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil in Houston, TX is seeking skilled concrete finishers to smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs to specified textures. Must be willing to travel amongst several projects within the Houston area and will be working in various weather conditions.

The role involves finishing surfaces, spreading concrete, handling tools, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and quality workmanship required.

Responsibilities

• Spread concrete to depth and ensure workable consistency.
• Level, smooth and shape freshly poured concrete.
• Finish concrete surfaces and patch defects.
• Mold expansion joints and edges; apply finishings per plan.
• Mix and pour grout; calculate material needs.
• Read drawings/diagrams and assemble forms.
• Finish stairs/steps and repair old surfaces.
