Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking skilled concrete finishers in Abilene, TX. The role involves finishing poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, and curbs, with travel between projects and working in diverse weather conditions.

Candidates should take pride in craftsmanship and safety while contributing to public infrastructure. You will spread, level, and finish concrete, mold joints, apply decorative finishes as prescribed, and coordinate with project teams outdoors on industrial construction

Qualifications

• Experience finishing concrete surfaces with attention to texture.
• Willingness to travel among projects in the Abilene area.
• Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency.
• Level, smooth and shape freshly poured concrete.
• Finish concrete surfaces to required textures and tolerances.
• Mold expansion joints and edges; patch holes as needed.
• Sprinkle stone chips or coloring powder for prescribed finish.
• Mix cement and set forms; direct subgrade work.
• Measure quantities and compare with drawings.
