Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to read construction drawings, build and place concrete forms, and assist with pouring operations on site in Jacksonville, FL. You will work with foremen to ensure accurate elevations, proper safety practices, and timely completion of concrete structures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Experience in construction or contracting industry.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build/assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated slabs.
• Set forms to elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using various materials and forming systems, mainly symon forms.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser, or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for elevated work areas.
• Communicate safety or material issues with Foreman/PM.
• Ensure equipment is safe to operate.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Observe all safety policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
