Job summary

B in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to perform carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, placing and finishing concrete. You will read drawings, build and set forms for floors, walls and columns, and help place concrete on site.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns and other structures.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using varied materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, level, laser or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for structures above ground level.
• Communicate safety, material, or tooling needs to Foreman or Project Manager.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
