Job summary

You will verify elevations, operate ladders and scaffolding, and maintain safety while assisting with concrete placement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Experience building and assembling wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Set forms to proper elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Operate form systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using basic measuring tools.
• Observe safety policies and guidelines on site.
• Communicate with foreman or project manager about issues and materials.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and prints for formwork.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, walls, and columns.
• Set forms to elevations and locations; aid in installing reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using various materials and form systems, mainly symon forms.
• Verify accuracy using plumb bob, level, laser or transit.
• Set up scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.
