Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, garages, etc.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; may aid in reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, carpenter's level, laser or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager regarding problems, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed; may signal concrete deliverer to position truck.
• Observe and comply with all safety policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
