Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to read drawings, set and place concrete forms, and assist with concrete placement at various site work, including foundations, walls, and columns. You will work with wooden and metal forms, verify elevations, and maintain safety

Qualifications

• Reads and understands drawings and prints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• High attention to detail in form construction and placement.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete components.
• Set forms to elevations and locations, assist with reinforcement placement.
• Erect forms using various systems, primarily symon forms.
• Check accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser or transit.
• Set up scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate safety issues or material needs to Foreman/PM.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safe to operate.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
