Job summary

Cleveland Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Superintendent to serve as the on-site leader for a flagship commercial project in Lafayette, LA. This role requires travel and extended stays at job sites to drive from setup through turnover.

You will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety programs, review blueprints, and ensure compliance with plans and specs. A strong background in large-scale commercial GC supervision is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as GC Superintendent on large-scale commercial projects.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints/plans and MEP systems; proficient in construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and manage project schedules and field reports.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and labor to maintain productivity and contract compliance.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings, enforce OSHA regulations, and maintain a secure job site.
• Inspect workmanship and materials to verify adherence to plans and specs.
• Manage municipal and jurisdictional inspections and drive punch list completions.
