Job description

United Contractor Services is a growing national commercial construction company specializing in drywall, metal studs, acoustical ceiling, EIFS, stucco, and painting. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to service our clients throughout the United States.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

  • We provide the necessary technology and access to cloud reporting systems needed to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience is required.
  • Ability to travel to worksites throughout the United States.
  • Layout complex construction projects.
  • Able to read and comprehend blueprints, architectural, and structural drawings.
  • Manage and follow project schedules.
  • Must be a motivated and detailed oriented.
  • Able to communicate with clients, sub-contractors, and employees in a professional manner.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion.
  • Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Supervise and lead construction crews, providing guidance and support to ensure work is performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the construction process.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
  • Foster a culture of safety and ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
