Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Building Construction or related field preferred.
• AMPP Basic coatings credentials preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively ~70% of the time (2‑week rotations; up to 4 weeks at a time).
• Experience with reading/revising blueprints or as‑built drawings (Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Autodesk) desired.
• Experience with construction, repair, painting and/or renovation of retail buildings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of retail box stores across the United States.
• Perform building condition assessments and inspections for commercial properties.
• Identify exterior coating, sealant, and caulking problems; record results of diagnostic tests.
• Gather data and measurements; take field notes and photographs; summarize results electronically.
• Interface with store managers and restoration contractors; prepare QA reports.
• Examine building envelope for design or construction deficiencies.
