Job summary

ATS is seeking a Traveling CNC Maintenance Technician to perform expert level maintenance and preventative maintenance on customer equipment across multiple sites. You will identify root causes, repair complex systems, and document work while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, fluid power, and control systems experience, with extensive travel across the country. A technical degree or extensive field experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Associates degree with a technical focus and 12+ years experience or 15+ years industry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Proficient with hand tools, specialty tools, and programming software as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment; identifies root causes and repairs.
• Maintains equipment; documents work and updates manuals and procedures.
• Directs customer counterparts in maintenance optimization and reliability efforts.
• Travels to customer sites to support multiple machining and manufacturing operations.
