Job summary

Advanced Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Traveling CNC Maintenance Technician to perform expert-level maintenance and repair on CNC equipment at customer sites across the United States.

This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, parts replacement, and adherence to safety standards while traveling frequently. You will work with a team of technicians, document service activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Associates degree with technical focus or 12+ years of industry experience; or 15 years of experience in industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & maintenance, including observing operation to locate root cause and repairing components.
• Sources parts and evaluates alternatives to improve cost or reliability of equipment.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards and creates maintenance instructions.
• Directs customer counterparts in maintenance optimization and preventive processes.
• Documents work in reports and manuals; contributes to upgrades and automation integrations.
