Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Gallatin, TN. The role requires current CMA credentials and Tennessee certification, plus willingness to travel to other offices as needed.

Expect hands-on patient care, EMR documentation, and support for ambulatory clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have BLS certification, strong teamwork, and the ability to manage vitals, phlebotomy, injections, and EKGs while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential; certification valid in Tennessee.
• Current BLS certification.
• Willing and able to travel to other job/office locations; reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care support under the direction of a physician or AP provider.
• Prepare patients for exams: rooming, vitals, urinalysis; document in the EMR.
• Perform CMA scope tasks: phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, specimen processing, and assist with procedures.
• Review charts and conduct pre-visit planning; update meds and test results.
• Report lab findings to providers and follow documented orders per protocol.
• Support chronic care management by documenting monthly outreach for enrolled patients.
• Triage patient calls for urgent needs under RN/physician direction.
• Educate and counsel patients using approved guidelines.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, instruments, and clinical quality standards.
• Uphold safety, infection control, and confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Collaborate with patients, clinicians, and staff; contribute to a positive team culture.
