Job summary

Galen Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support providers across multiple Chattanooga locations. You will float between sites to cover temporary absences, performing patient prep, vitals, phlebotomy, and clerical tasks within busy specialty practices.

The role requires a CMA with 3–5 years of experience, BLS certification, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Travel between locations is part of the position and mileage is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Must be a nationally certified CMA and current BLS certification.
• 3–5 years of clinical and phlebotomy experience required in high-volume settings.
• Experience with multiple specialties and EMR/PM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers to verify patient information and history.
• Prepare patients for exams; take vitals and document in EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with lab procedures as needed.
• Provide clerical support and manage patient flow across sites.
