Responsibilities

• Perform CMA scope tasks: phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, specimen processing.
• Review charts and update meds/test results; plan pre-visit activities.
• Triage calls for urgent needs under RN/physician direction.
• Educate and counsel patients using approved guidelines.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.
