Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of current experience in an HMO or ambulatory setting is required.
• Requires RN licensure in multiple states with required post-hire credentials.
• BLS certification and ACLS/PALS preferred are noted in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple sites with 100% travel requirement.
• Administers all oral and injectable medications in the clinic area.
• Keeps narcotics secure per KP standards and regulatory laws.
• Initiates and monitors IV therapy.
• Ensures functional emergency equipment and supplies.
• Responds to emergencies and documents actions taken.
• Educates patients on diabetes, hypertension, anticoagulant therapy and diet.
• Sets up and assists with procedures and documents care in KP Health Connect.
• Coordinates recovery care post-sedation and oversees patient safety.
