Job summary

GenPro Energy Solutions seeks an experienced Civil Heavy Equipment Operator to join our field construction team supporting utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across the country.

The role centers on site preparation, civil grading, and installing racking and pile foundations while safely operating a range of equipment and maintaining on‑time, on‑budget project delivery. This position is traveling nationwide with extended project assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• CDL preferred
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred or willing to obtain
• Passport eligibility; international travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (pile drivers, skid steers, backhoes, telehandlers, bulldozers, excavators, compactors, trenchers) safely
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections and report issues
• Install racking and pile foundations to engineered specs
• Excavate, grade, and compact soil for civil/electrical scope
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
• Assist tradespeople and follow supervisor instructions
• Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
• Complete required paperwork and logs accurately
