Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ServSafe certification or an equivalent food-safety certificate is required or preferred.
• Ability to travel between assigned facilities is required.
• Experience with senior populations is preferred but not required.
• Ability to prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned healthcare and assisted living communities to support kitchen operations.
• Prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities while following standardized recipes, menus, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, flavor, temperature, and service standards across all locations.
• Support kitchen teams during staffing shortages, leadership transitions, new community openings, and operational changes.
• Help provide appealing, flavorful, nutritious meals that meet dietary needs of residents.
• Assist with menus that meet nutritional and dietary needs of senior adults and healthcare residents.
• Properly prepare and serve modified diets, therapeutic diets, texture-modified foods, and allergen-sensitive meals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while following proper personal hygiene and food-handling practices.
• Monitor food storage, temperature control, labeling, dating, allergen management, and sanitation procedures.
• Follow all applicable health regulations and company policies.
